Prepare a Great CV

Your CV is the most important part of your “presentation and job search” and it’s important that all your experience is included. You should put your CV online on a webpage so that it is easier for recruiters to view your information.
Look at it this way – a recruiter gets an email inquiry letter with a CV file attachment. Recruiter reads email, has limited time or the phone rings or someone comes in the office or whatever, and doesn’t click on the file attachment to download and read right away. Changes become slimmer by the minute or hour that the recruiter will not return to that email and open the attachment (i.e. your CV).
Let’s look at another scenario – a recruiter gets your email and skims it quickly. Mid-way through the email is a link to click on for your CV. At that moment the phone rings or someone comes in the office or whatever. Not a problem. While the recruiter is on the phone or chatting with someone in the office doorway, he clicks on the link and voila! There is your beautifully organized CV right online, no download necessary.
My online CV has a file attachment on the webpage so any recruiter who wants a copy can just click and download.
Before doing anything else though, you have to have a well constructed and organized CV. Here are some websites to help you with that:
